INTRODUCING THE LESSON
 |
|
- Show the students various objects that symbolize everyday life. For example, a flag to represent our country, a picture of a pumpkin to represent Halloween, etc.
- Brainstorm ways that we can represent the Cinderellas from around the world (clothing or type of shoe, for example).

DEVELOPING THE LESSON
 |
|
1. The students will create a map key using symbols that represent the Cinderella from each version.
2. Have the students work in groups and locate the representative countries on a world map.
3. Using the map key, each group will place their symbol in the corresponding country.

ASSESSING THE LESSON
 |
|
1. Students should be able to correctly identify the various countries on the world map.
|

EXTENDING THE LESSON
 |
|
1. The children will further research the cultures and produce a report.
